Spiritually Fly Flow

This is Faith’s passionate Sunday Signature Vinyasa Flow practice. Prepare to open your heart, soar with grace, and smile while flowing with love. Let your spirit move you, and have fun rocking the postures in your own divine way. The practice may include inversions and arms balances, and a few challenging sequences. Don’t stress, you can always move at your own flow, and child pose is your friend. Level 2.

Spiritually Hip Flow

This high-spirited and dynamic Signature Vinyasa Flow practice will rock your core and make you sweat. Inspired by the funky beats, afro-bass, and soulful rhymes of hip-hop music, this flowing and creatively sequenced practice will totally invigorate the physical body and float you sweetly into “yogi nirvana.” Designed to inspire and motivate you to live fully, it will strengthen your practice and challenge your soul through powerful breathwork, asana and meditation.

Embrace Your Core

Embrace Your Core is an Embrace Yoga DC Signature Vinyasa Yoga class that starts with 30 minutes of vibrant, energizing core focus, followed by a light-hearted flow, interspersed with playful exploration of challenging backbends, arm balances, hip and/or shoulder openers. Embrace Flow (all levels)

This free spirited vinyasa flow class truly encourages you to EMBRACE your flow. It includes creative sun salutations, jump backs, binds, inversions, arm balances, and flowing movement that creates heat and calms the mind. Don’t stress, you can always move at your own flow, and child pose is your friend.

Beginner Flow (basics/level 1)

Beginner vinyasa flow classes provide a safe space for new students to learn yoga basics and breathing techniques. The class is moderately paced, alignment based, and thoroughly instructive.

Embrace Flow (1.5)

By linking mindful movement to breath, this vinyasa class is suited for advanced beginner and experienced students alike. The class offers sun salutations, creative sequences, mindful alignment principles, and complimentary breath work associated with each pose.  The class includes foundational asanas (posutres) while also focusing on strengthening core muscle groups needed for arm balances, inversion, and other postures.  Get ready to have fun, try new postures, and play towards your personal edge. The practice will also warm the body and fuel the soul. Level 1.5

Embrace Flow (level 2/3)

This level 2 vinyasa flow class is powerful and dynamic. The yoga practice incorporates advanced arm balances, inversions, and energetic
sequences that challenge the body and stimulate the mind. You must have a knowledge of the basic postures. The teacher will provide detailed instruction on how to advance to deeper postures. The class will follow a workshop format and build up to specific postures. Level 2/3

Back to Basics

This beginner yoga series provides a safe space for new students to learn yoga basics and breathing techniques and a chance for advanced students to go back to basics and re-master the foundations for their practice. Each week has a new focus and is thoroughly instructive. Students are encouraged to use props and adjustments will be made by the instructor. Click to the view the schedule. Embrace Power Flow (all levels)

This is our all levels powerful, dynamic, and vigorous flow class. The yoga practice will include a focus on heated postures, core work, and strength building postures for the arms and legs.  Twist out the toxins, feel the burn, and enjoy blissful moment of renewal.

Embrace the Sun (all levels)

Sunshine or not, this morning practice will heat your body, awaken your mind and ignite your spirit. A flowing fusion of sun salutations, asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and sankalpa (intention setting), with variations for different levels of practice.

Embrace the Body (all levels)

The practice of yoga stimulates growth in the mind, body, and soul. These benefits are available to all, regardless of age, gender, body size or type. This Embrace Flow class is for those who have never tried yoga or thought they weren’t the right type. The use of props will make virtually every posture accessible, as your body stretches and strengthens over time. Come with an open mind and a willingness to embrace your body just as it is. You will be amazed at the power and grace you discover.

Embrace Ease (Restorative Yoga)

Embrace Ease is a Restorative Yoga class that gives you the opportunity to dive in and restore your body, mind and spirit to a natural state of balance. Utilizing props and a targeted relaxing sequence of postures merged with Yoga Nidra (Yoga sleep), you will feel the healing and restorative transformation immediately. All levels.

Restorative/Yoga Nidra

Replenish your physical, emotional, and spiritual reserves with a restorative practice and Yoga Nidra, “yogic sleep.” In Yoga Nidra, you will experience a deep meditative state said to be five times more restorative than sleep. This 45 minute class offers a short gentle flow to release tension and prepare the body and mind for deep relaxation/meditation. You will also be guided through a Yoga Nidra practice. You will leave this special class feeling renewed and with a deeper sense of peace and awareness. All levels. Purchase a $10 Meditation pass or $50 Meditation 5 class pass.

Yoga Loft Party

On Friday nights Embrace will offer a high energy and soul moving class that is fun, playful, with a hint of club atmosphere rolled into a spirited practice. Join one of our fabulous teachers in a loft for an unforgettable experience. Use your class pass to register.
